Hi
I am working on Windows 7 based application development in Silverlight. I have not been able to find a way to play a an audio file in windows 7 phone. I have been googling it since past few days but i could not get any solution of that. There is a class in C# with name SoundPlayer but i guess its not available in Windows 7 Phone.
Can anyone please help?

Well this came out of nowhere. Last night the Senate passed an emergency border enforcement bill that provides $600 million for increased security on the southern US border. The $600 million will come from raising fees on staffing companies. The fee will increase by $2250 for each L-1 visa application for companies that employ 50 or more workers if 50% of the workforce is on an H-1B or an L-1. Due to a sudden demise of my wife's grandmother, my wife had to go to India last week. She is planning to come back by Nov. 15. I received the receipt notices for my wife's I-485, I-131 and I-765. My question is if the fingerprinting notice comes before she arrives and also if it is scheduled prior to her arrival date on Nov. 14; what are the options of rescheduling and can we get the date of our choice after Nov. 14. Also, I would be extremely grateful, if someone could upload a sample fingerprinting notice from USCIS. I couldn't find any where on the site.
I-140 approved: Feb 07 (EB-2)
I-485, I-131, I-765applied (myself and spouse): Aug. 13, 2007
I-485, I-131, I-765 received (myself and spouse): Aug. 15, 2007

hai ,
i am going for the h1b visa stamping first time in chennai. i took the single dd with 4322 ( 4000 + 322 ) rupees . i took the appointment date also for interview .
in the hdfc bank some other people also took the single dd with the same (4322 rupees ) amount.
but some body told that we have to take supporate dds like 4000 and 322 rupees.
what about my situation now? if i took wrong how come hdfc people will give single dd for me and others .
i am really mad. please appriciate your help. i am waiting for your valuable suggestion. please anybody who knows help me.

My attorney filed I-140 on July 5th. No receipt yet. No news also.
He said he cannot send it to TSC, instead he mailed it to NSC. Is that the standard filing place?
Do you have a notice for your standalone I-140 filed at NSC on or after July5th.

If it has been more than 90 days for the EAD renewal application and the EAD is about to expire, what can one do? I know they no longer give walk-in EADs. I have tried to contact them but no positive response. Any help would be appreciated.

My company is filing 140 and 485 on a preapproved LC (PD of 2005)
But my original LC in P-BEC just got cleared (PD of 2003). They told that they will also use my original LC for 140 as this gives better chance than the substituted one.
1)How Can I have 2 140's ?
3)How will it effect 485?
I'm confused ..please answer

With all the data from USCIS, FOIA and other tracker - random sampling its really hard to say. They all say different things. I think the only thing that is somewhat clear is that EB ROW is not going to use much of the visas this year and we expect some reduction in the backlog. There many estimates by people on this forum.

Hi friends
I travelled out of USA and am trying to get back into USA with AP. I am using H1B(not stamped).
THey temporarily transferred to me indian office for this duration.
I also have EAD with me(not yet started to use).Now My co. is not letting me to go back to USA
without a project.If incase i want to change my employer, how can I do it..
Will it hurt to go back without employers permission to USA and then to use EAD to get a job?
After this I plan to submit my resignation.For EAD, 180 days already crossed.
If I want to do the above,how many days I have to get a job with EAD with a new employer after I go to USA?
What are my options?

I am a Indian citizen working in the technology sector on a H1B Visa. My 6 years on H1b in US are over. I have a approved I-140 and based on that I have a H1b extension for another ~2.5 years. My wife also works on a H1B Visa. I plan to go to school in the US for an MBA degree and will need to move to F1 Visa (student). Can I legally work in US after my education is complete in approximately 2 years time? Or do I need to move out of US before starting employment on either H1B or OPT (If these are allowed for MBA students)?

Here how it goes, one of my friends visa date got current in June 2007. He applied for his I-140 and I-485. For some strange and unknown reason to me , he did not file I-485 for his wife who is on H4 and thought that he will file later once he gets his receipt. Now he has his receipt and was getting ready to file the i-485 for his wife it dawned on him that dates are retrogressed again and the lawyer told him that he cannot file I-485 for his wife. Now the situation is that he has to wait until the dates get current, but what if they dont and he gets his green and his wife dont which will automatically make his wife out of status and she has to go back and you all know how hard it is to sponsor on green card.
My question is that, is this the true statement that he cannot file I-485 for his wife due to retrogression since his wife is dependent and should be able to file since his dates were current?
If this statement is true what are the available options
