There is no expiry date in his I-94. What should I write? Is it like D/S (F1)?

Should I write Graduate Student or leave it blank?

This Unique Id is good for everyone, T.N.Seshan was recommending this way back in 1988. but the Present Ruling party at that time never agreed because they cannot do hacking polling booths but now it is all very easy.. Guess what.... the EVM electronic voting machines! get rid of that first go back to ballot papers, see who wins and who looses and how people of India are enlightened about the politics. Do they really ahve the guts to do that??

We are looking to talk to a good immigration lawyer and seek opinions on the following
(1) H1b visa transfer process for physicians after residencies into a jobs
(2) How to handle licensing issues - murthy.com has some info, but we need a better perspective
(3) Green cards for physicians - eligibility and time frame and minimum requirements etc..
Any any other pitfalls or booby traps that one has to be careful about.
A lot of physicians do visit IV website - am wondering if there are any user groups or forums on web that discuss potential issues and other stuff that we discuss on IV.

I am currently on H1B status with 3 yrs left on my visa. I've used 3 yrs already.
I'm not a project at the moment and if I convert to H4 now, can I continue on the same H1 after a couple of yrs.

I believe working on 1099 is allowed when you have the full time work on H1B going.
There are different types of 1099. 1099-Misc is not allowed. 1099-Int , 1099-G are the examples of allowed 1099s

No that's not the case, there are stringent reqmts for proof of Date of Birth. Passport is not one of them...
Please check other forums where this has been discussed..

Hi there,
Please correct me if i am wrong.
WH-4 Time line is within a year, means if betrayel/non payment happened with in a year from the date of reporting it will be investigated, and YOU CAN FILE WH-4 FROM OUTSIDE OF US ALSO, if your consultant company sent you back with fake commitments.
But not sure if your h1 still have time, after DOL complain, you can transfer it or not??
Anyone has any idea???

i am in a small problem and it would be great if someone could help me out.
i came in us on f1 visa in jan2008 and i completed my mba in dec 2010. my opt expired on 31st march 2010. but before my SEVIS could expire i transfered my SEVIES to new college for summer term. now my visa is for 5 years ending on jan 2013. i know as long as i stay in US i am maintaining my status. but now i need to go home for few days. So how is it going to wrok for me? Do i need to go for new visa stamping or can i come back on same visa ? if i need to get new visa can i get it done in US before going home ? What are my option and what are my chances of coming back?

Got another question for Nikon people - a friend sent his D300s in for repair. Nikon upgraded the firmware, and now he can't open the RAW (NEF) files in CS3. Any thoughts?

You know CIS may issue an RFE at any point in the AOS stage..wait and see what the RFE about and respond it accordingly...I think if you are going thru an Attorney he will receive the RFE letter followup with him..

The July bulletin shows the date as 15th Aug 2003. It's difficult to estimate when it'll get to July 2007 because the movement is not linear.
