I am working on Windows 7 based application development in Silverlight. I have not been able to find a way to play a an audio file in windows 7 phone. I have been googling it since past few days but i could not get any solution of that. There is a class in C# with name SoundPlayer but i guess its not available in Windows 7 Phone.
Can anyone please help?

Welcome news from the US Travel Association: H.R. 2410, the "Foreign Relations Authorization Act, FY 2010-2011", includes a provision that authorizes the Secretary of State to conduct a two-year pilot program to use secure, remote videoconferencing technology to conduct tourist visa interviews. Guys,
I have created a search engine (http://immisearch.blogspot.com/) to help all people looking for a better way to search topics around immigration related activites. The search engine came as a result of my countless hours that I spent searching to answers around the web.
Try searching for any information with h1b, h4, Green Card, I-485, I140, citizenship etc, and the engine should give you a better result.
Leave a comment at the blog and let me know what else could be improved.

I heard that there was a deadline to send 45 day letter before end of June this year. And I have seen 45 day letters coming to my friends and me.
Question is: Is there any deadline for them to complete processing all cases???

Congratulations IV!! We have reached the 4000 member mark. While this is definetly a milestone, like TO_BE_OR_NOT_TO_BE and ragz4u pointed out, we have a lot more potential...
Now that being said, there is a difference between 'giving' vs 'taking'.. In the last couple of weeks we have had 100's of people register to become members, and yet whenever IV volunteers ask for contribution, less that 1% of the new people come to contribute.. That is a TAKER mentality..

Folks, While a contribution of a 100$ is not a big deal, even if we contribute 50$ (to start with) and 50% of the 2800 people contribute we would have an additional $70,000. This should not be a big deal..

Arizona's 2007 law allows the state to revoke a company's business license if it is found to have employed illegally present immigrants and mandates all employers in the state use E-Verify. Out of the 65,000 cases that can be approved for H-1B this year, 37,400 cases have been receipted by USCIS for the regular Bachelor's degree H-1B quota. This is up from 36,600 cases which were received since September 3, 2010.
Approximately 13,700 cases have been receipted by USCIS for the advanced degree H-1B quota, a slight increase of about 300 cases filed since September 3, 2010 when approximately 13,400 cases had been received.
October 1, 2010 is around the corner. People with newly approved H-1Bs will soon be able to begin employment. First time applicants can still continue to submit applications for H-1B status until the entire H-1B quota is exhausted. I'll keep you updated on the cap count, so check back soon. ---ecf

Just want to know my options here and here is my scenario:
I am on H1-B and my 6 years of H1B is going to complete on March so I have almost 1 more year to complete my 6 years of h1-B
Right now, I have my LC and I-140 approved from my present employer.
Now, I am thinking about moving onto a new job where the new employer is ready to start my GC immediately I take the new job.
My question is:
If I take the new job, would I get my new H-1B for 3 years since my I-140 with old employer/current employer is already approved ?
I don't have the copy of my I-140 but I think I can get it.
Also, if I start the transfer to new employer, would I get 3 year H1B or just remaining 1 year out of 6 years ?

- recently obtained a duplicate passport for my stolen passport, unfortunately also lost I-94 when received in Dec.08.
- Can I use the I-94 attached in the bottom of the I797? I won't have time to submit I102 and wait for replacement I-94.
- I've a trip coming very soon to Germany, last year had obtained the H1b stamping at US consulate in Germany, will it be ok if I apply for restamping at the same consulate because of time factor I'm not able to Canada or Mexico or India.
Any help and advise will be much appreciated. thanks !
