Company A has filed my 485/EAD/AP. I am planning to change company B on AC21 after 180 days. Can I use AP which is filed by company A, for travel purpose after switching to Company B?

Hi All,
My wife is on H1 since Oct 2009. No paystubs. Now she want to come back on H4. Her H4 stamping expired. I have my H1 renewed in Oct 2009 and need stamping.
What are the best and low risk options to convert to H4 status. Please advice

She most likely is out-of-status for a long time (more than 6 months). Also she started/would start accruing illegal/unlawful presence from the day her I-94 expired/expires. Talk to a lawyer before doing anything.

RFE: June first week
July first week: RFE response sent
July last week: Approval notice sent
August first week: approval notice received
Documents requested for RFE (also suggested by lawyer):
- Client Letter, role/responsibilities, duties, technologies used, company profile etc.
This letter also clearly stated all entities involved and their relationships with each other.
- Purchase Order and Other contract related stuff (all possible). Everyone co-operated.
- Badge (main bulding, her office), timesheets
- photos (cubicle/office building,company logo etc), login screen, machine etc, client phone directory
- copies of recent pay stub and offer letter, job duties
Thanks to everyone who contribute on this forum. It helped us a lot. This is for my wife.

My wife will be coming back from India during first week of Dec thru IAD. She has some type of infection in few of her fingers with few blisters. I am worried her fingerprinting at POE may not work and may show an error. Has anyone encountered this issue ever? Do they capture all 10 fingers? Her infection is only in few fingers.

One of my friends has goofed up his labor filing:
His actual date of termination with his previous company was 5/31/2007, but in the labor filing he has said that he was employed with the previous company till 6/30/2007....
he is ready for filing his 140(EB2)? can he correct his dates of when he files for 140....
WILL HE HAVE TO file for labor again??????????:(

i am going for the h1b visa stamping first time in chennai. i took the single dd with 4322 ( 4000 + 322 ) rupees . i took the appointment date also for interview .
in the hdfc bank some other people also took the single dd with the same (4322 rupees ) amount.
but some body told that we have to take supporate dds like 4000 and 322 rupees.
what about my situation now? if i took wrong how come hdfc people will give single dd for me and others .
i am really mad. please appriciate your help. i am waiting for your valuable suggestion. please anybody who knows help me.

Dear Attorney,
I am a July 2007 I-485 filer. Have an EAD but primarily working on H1B full-time as a Systems Analyst. I am a Certified Fitness Trainer but not sure if I can use my EAD to work as a Fitness Trainer in a local Gym (part-time).

Of those petitions, 6,791 were "regular" cap, and 2,734 were advanced degree. All cases received before April 7, 2010, will have an April 7, 2010 receipt date. Those received on April 7, 2010 or later will bear the actual receipt date. For those submitted for Premium Processing, the clock will start on April 7, 2010. We will update once we have the California Service Center Numbers.

Let the EAD expire, it makes more sense to use H1B when you enter the country. EAD and Advance Parole should be avoided and be used only as a last resort in extreme cases beacuse of the way immigration rules are carved.
