I am going to hold my breath for 24 hours. DOS suckers can change the dates on the web site anytime. Last month, Mumbai consulate did similar fiasco.

Why is the December visa bulletin not available on the USCIS website ?? It still shows November as the current bulletin.

My wife is currently with Employer A on her 7th year H-1B which is valid till Sep 2009. She also has her approved labor cert and I-140 from this employer, but decided to continue on my I-485 application. The I-140 however is still valid.
She now wants to change jobs to Employer B using H1 visa transfer. I am guessing she will need to include a copy of approved I-140 with her H1B transfer application. But Employer A is not providing us a copy of the I-140 approval.
Can someone please advise what we can do in this situation? Is a copy of I-140 critical in this situation? Or just a copy of online approved status will be sufficient? Any other ideas?

I also have the same issue. Can we get some help on resolving this. I think USCIS should accept with some proof that I-140 is already filed.

What regulatory or legislative changes (including a possible pre-application filing procedure for adjustment cases) are recommended to facilitate caseload planning and make optimum use of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services adjudication capacity?
By the way, we will have minimum participation for this as most of guys/gals in this forum are on EAD(you will know this when you see amount of questions answered for someone EAD and all H1B related questions are usually buried under within an hour or so)...

I just called and was asked for names and comments. I told her my personal experience: came 10 years ago, worked 5 years, approved I-140 2 years ago, stuck in the queue, working as a scientist at Stanford University, and can not apply fund and have difficulty attending international conference. She asked the state I am from. I strongly urge TX members to call. It is very easy.

I am in EB2 ADP with PD Feb'09. No cheating there ! :)
I understand that if a lot of EB3 guys, who have been waiting for years, start porting to EB2, they will end up in the queue before me :(. And with that knowledge, I will still support EB3-EB2 porting.
EB3 guys, porting is your best option. I hear a lot of EB2 asking you to go get a new job where they are willing to
a. Hire you with your H1B status,
b. Agree to file your GC, and
c. Agree to do it in EB2 category. (Think about the min wage they have to give and prove etc.)
It is way easier said than done in the current economy. But if you find one, go for it. That is a way of respite for you folks. For others, try porting to EB2 with your current company.
There have been cases where EB3 was filed when the candidate was eligible for EB2 and there have been cases other way round too. But talking about none of them helps your cause. Similarly, fighting amongst us doesn't help either. Don't get me wrong if I say that with EB2 movement, if EB2 becomes current by the end of next year, EB3 will start seeing a good benefit of spill overs. So with current laws, getting EB2 out of the way will actually help your cause
Eliminating per country limit will help everyone. We should fight for that, EB3 and EB2 together.
Seriously try for porting. I have been waiting just a year, and already know how many decisions get put on hold because of this process.

They will definitely accept the copies of the check. The reason I applied my I-140 in May 07 and didn't got any receipt and I intend to file PPS for which I require copy of I-140 but when I talked to the customer service they suggested me this solution and after that I got my check photocopies from my employer
